Port Austin is located at the tip of the thumb in Michigan. It’s one of the few towns where you can watch the sun rise and the sun set on the same spot over beautiful Lake Huron. Little Yellow Cottages are located right in the heart of Port Austin. Our 6 cottages are located two blocks from the beach, the Port Austin Farmers’ Market, and our main downtown Lake Street. They are a perfect location for family reunions or a trip with friends where everyone can be close together, but have their own private space. It is the perfect little town to take a fishing tour, rent a kayak to see beautiful Turnip Rock, hit the beach, or just relax in a quiet vacation town that’s less than 2 hours from Metro Detroit.
