About Live History

Live History is a 100% Portuguese registered trademark and a licensed company by the Tourism Bureau of Portugal operating tours in the city of Lisbon. We are one of the few companies operating in Lisbon that is, in fact, both local and Portuguese and we have two main goals in our company’s philosophy and vision: - to provide off the beaten path free tours that cover the most important neighborhoods of the city, offering top-level content and insights on both historical and actual facts of Lisbon, shared by guides that really are locals and love their city - to help fight the effects of gentrification in the tourism business by developing partnerships with local creative hubs and local commerce and by helping real locals find a permanent job position with us and not only a temporary occupation during the summertime.
