About Live Well North East

Live Well North East is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in Sacriston, Durham. We are a charity focused on positive change that transforms people's lives for the better, providing a range of wellbeing services throughout the North East of England. Live Well North East was incorporated as a C.I.C. in 2018 to enable everyone access to preventative, early intervention, quick action and lasting impact services to improve physical and mental health. We have recently converted as a CIO, registered with The Charity Commission. We are an inclusive, accessible, and engaging organisation pr oviding a person-centred, holistic approach to optimum wellbeing for all. We provide integrated and bespoke services for people of all ages including those living with mental health challenges, neurodiversity, deprivation, social isolation, physical health needs and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are a needs driven organisation, listening and responding to the communities we work with. Our qualities lie in bringing people together, and helping them to feel safe, empowered, healthy and happy. essentially, we provide services that support improved wellbeing and resilience. We do this through our work in the community and our external work including in schools, youth organisations and other community organisations. Within the community, our Live Well Centre is an accessible, approachable, environment. We empower beneficiaries to break down the barriers they face in accessing mainstream social care whilst providing a welcoming environment and community to help enrich their health and wellbeing. We offer a range of targeted services and programmes including emotional and mental wellbeing support, physical wellbeing services, social connectivity, learning and development. Our services offer teaching, guidance, techniques, and tools that ultimately build personal resilience.
