About Liverpool Bereavement Service
Liverpool Bereavement Service has been supporting individuals of all ages coping with grief and loss since 1998. As a dedicated charity, we offer 1:1 counselling for adults, children, and young people across the Liverpool City Region. Grief is deeply personal, and everyone’s journey through it is unique. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, are struggling with difficult emotions, or need someone to talk to, we are here to provide professional, compassionate care tailored to your needs. Our qualified counsellors help people navigate the complexities of grief, offering a safe, non-judgmental space to explore emotions and build resilience. We support individuals facing all forms of loss, including sudden or traumatic bereavement, the loss of a child, miscarriage, stillbirth, and more. We are home to Oakleaf, our specialised service supporting children and young people affected by bereavement, loss, and separation. Oakleaf offers both 1:1 counselling and group sessions for young people up to 25, using various therapeutic techniques like expressive arts and play therapy, ensuring that children and young people can explore their emotions in the way that best suits them. Families are also supported throughout the grieving process, helping everyone understand and navigate the impact of loss. At Liverpool Bereavement Service, we believe no one should face grief alone, and we are committed to making our services accessible to everyone. As a charity, we rely on donations to continue offering this vital support. We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters and volunteers who help us provide care to those in need. If you or someone you know is struggling with grief, or if you would like to support our work through donations or volunteering, please reach out to us. Together, we can help individuals and families find comfort, hope, and healing. 📍 Serving the Liverpool City Region 💰 Donations welcome 🌿 Home to Oakleaf, supporting children and young people
