About Living Sport

"Our vision is to improve lives and communities by encouraging people to be more active." Living Sport, established in 2006, is an independent charity dedicated to improving the health, happiness, and well-being of individuals in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough by supporting them in becoming more active. As one of the 43 Active Partnerships working alongside Sport England, we serve as the delivery partner for this region. The Partnership Network implements the “Uniting the Movement” initiative, connecting us to broader conversations across England. We are passionate about promoting physical activity and ensuring that everyone has access to opportunities to participate, regardless of their circumstances. We support individuals and organizations on the ground that deliver, influence, and inspire others to engage in physical activity. As thought leaders, advocates, and strategic influencers within the local sports and physical activity landscape, we collaborate with various partners, including local authorities and sectors in health, voluntary services, and private enterprises, to pursue shared goals. Through our programmes, sponsorship opportunities, and workplace activity initiatives, we aspire to develop a sustainable funding model that will enable us to do even more for in the future.
