About Living Tree Foods
Living Tree Foods (“LTF”) is an emerging plant-based food company that produces vegan versions of traditionally non-vegan products that are tastier and healthier than their animal-derived counterparts. Product lines include cashew-based dairy-free cheese spreads and ravioli. We manufacture our own products out of a dedicated production facility in New Westminster, BC. We offer both grocery and food service. Our dairy-free cheese spreads won Gold for Outstanding New Product at the 2022 From the Ground Up Trade Show, an award that was voted on by BC industry members such as grocery chain and restaurant purchasers. This product was also named a Top 10 Finalist for the 2022 BC Food & Beverage Product of the Year Award. LTF was founded by Emily Wilson and Kyle McKay, both graduates of UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law. Kyle, who also holds a BA in Political Science and a diploma in Broadcast Journalism, went on to work as an associate in corporate law at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Emily has a background in the premium CPG space, and previously obtained her BA in Mathematics and Master's degree in Economics. Emily has worked or volunteered for Animal Justice, Mercy for Animals, and The Good Food Institute.
