As a **customer service manager in a call centre**, Will was expected to take 200–300 calls a day. That experience gave him a clear understanding of the relentless pressure frontline staff face. With key adjustments and consistent backing from colleagues and managers — funded through **Access to Work** — he was able to thrive. He became known as the “gesture of goodwill” because he recognised why customers were seen as “difficult” or “challenging” and worked to resolve their frustrations rather than dismiss them. That insight came not only from work, but from his **personal life**, where he was too often labelled “challenging” and excluded from services because the adjustments he needed were not provided. Living both realities gave him a unique perspective on the causes of conflict and exclusion. It’s this lived experience that led to the creation of **Living With Aspergers Ltd** and the **Living With Access project**. His goal is simple: to help businesses reduce staff and customer conflict, improve accessibility, and strengthen both revenue and reputation.
