Statement from the Founder and the first President of LJMU Muay Thai Club: Hi, I’m Karnpakkapas/Poonpoon (PJ), I’m excited to start our Muay Thai club and can’t wait to meet everyone!🙏🏻 As a Thai, setting up this club means a lot to me to share my passion for Muay Thai and our culture. I aim to create a vibrant hub for all who are interested in this incredible martial art. I especially encourage beginners and women to join—Muay Thai isn’t as intimidating as it seems! Everyone has different goals, and you can choose what suits you. For more experienced fighters, talk to me, and I’ll do my best to arrange competition opportunities for you. Also, if there’s enough interest, we might even be able to organise a summer training program at an authentic Muay Thai gym in Thailand. I’m here to help you navigate your Muay Thai journey, and my committee is ready to support you, too. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
