Who is Local Linx? Local Linx is the operator of the state-owned MB123 network. We operate over 1200 miles of fiber in more than 120 western and central Massachusetts communities. We enable education, health, commerce, and government services in Western and Central Massachusetts by connecting customers to the state-of-the-art MB123 fiber network. The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI), a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, completed the MassBroadband 123 (MB123) network in 2014 to expand affordable, quality broadband access to over 120 communities in western and north central Massachusetts.
