Local Motion is a full service Minneapolis & St. Paul moving company that will assist you with any of your moving needs. In 1994, university student David Seeley played music as a part time job. But when his band broke up, he used the band truck to help people move around the Twin Cities. After three increasingly successful seasons, David knew it was time to take his business to the next level. He changed the company name from Happy Movers to Local Motion, invested in more trucks, hired more staff, and set out to make his company a household name. Local Motion is one of the top moving companies in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We lead in technical innovation in the moving and storage industry. For two years in a row we have received honors as one of the Twin Cities' fastest growing privately held companies by The Twin Cities Business Journal. We have been moving individuals and families throughout the Twin Cities area for over 17 years and are proud of our reputation of excellence. Our modern fleet of 24 trucks and over 100 employees make us the largest local moving company in the area. We can assist you with moving, storage, and packing, and will even let you use free moving boxes during your move.
