Lodestar Therapy is family run, locally owned and operated company that supports people of all ages to enhance their independence and functional abilities with high quality Allied Health Services. We pride ourselves in offering services that are tailored to suit individuals’ needs and in line with evidence-based practise. Our company came about from wanting to combine our own lived experience of parenting 3 neurodiverse children, with Neisha’s professional experience of 22 years in the health and disability industry. Our vision is to offer services that are flexible, equitable and personalised, with a whole family approach to therapeutic input. We are passionate about working with our clients to support them to develop and work towards meaningful goals that add real value and fulfilment to their lives. We genuinely put the person at the centre of everything we do. Our aim is to be an allied health company with a difference - for staff and participants. How are we different? - 90% of our staff have over 10 years experience. - We have clinical experts with over 20 years of experience in the areas of paediatrics, mental health, AT & home modifications, general disability & Neuro. -We work as a multidisciplinary team with Physio, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy & Social Work to achieve the best outcomes. -Have staff that are dedicated to offering Neuro-affirming Occupational Therapy input. -We work with our participants to deliver therapy in the most cost effective way, with flexibility of session times, location & use of AHA’s. -We have a team of highly skilled Allied Health Assistants that include: a teacher, social worker, psychotherapist, teacher aid, OT student, personal trainer with qualifications in adaptive exercise. - We have options for profit sharing for the right staff. - We are a company that puts ideas into actions, where staff are supported to have their own ‘passion projects’ to run alongside the core of their NDIS work.
