At LoGi Food Technologies we are creating a world where eating snacks can actively reduce CO2 emissions and help prevent against disease. By using the patented LoGi bind process, we can turn any ingredients into crisps, crackers, bars, cookies, crackers or even extruded shapes, without the need for starch and sugar. Starch and sugar are a large component of our snack foods, and they are outsized contributors to the obesity crisis, affecting blood glucose levels while being calorie dense and nutrient poor. However, they are the binders in most snacks, and are cheap and easily accessible. LoGi Food Technologies uses up-cycled food processing surplus as a replacement for the starch and sugar usually needed to create snacks. This will help to tackle the climate and land crises we are currently facing, by preventing CO2 emissions from wasted food processing surplus, and by decreasing the amount of land needed to farm wheat and corn. LoGi Food Technologies will also help in the fight against the health crises, by reducing our consumption of harmful starches and sugars.
