About LOGOMO
Opened in 2011, Logomo has brought a great many new things to Turku. Logomo is a great venue, a fantastic place to celebrate and an international cultural arena. It also showcases interesting and ambitious architecture for event spaces. Transformed from the old railway workshop, Logomo has 24,000 square metres of open space in three wings. The historic red brick industrial building conceals a variety of modern surprises. For example the freely adjustable acoustics are one of a kind in the Nordic countries, and the concept behind the moveable Logomo Hall stand has been adapted from the shipbuilding industry. In 2013 Logomo became a workplace and centre for creative industries as the first pioneers moved into Logomo’s first completed office premises. Logomo gathers creative companies, entrepreneurs, freelancers and artists under a single roof. --- Logomo on kulttuurin, taiteen ja luovan talouden keskus, joka toimii entisessä VR:n konepajassa rautatieaseman ja ydinkeskustan läheisyydessä Turussa. Logomossa järjestetään konsertteja, kokouksia, seminaareja, kongresseja, teatterinäytöksiä, messuja, näyttelyjä, elokuvaesityksiä sekä erilaisia yksityistilaisuuksia. Logomon toimitiloissa, Byråssa ja Konttorissa, työskentelee päivittäin yli 400 ihmistä 90 yrityksessä.
