The quality of the relationship between a young person and their parent or carers is the most crucial one in helping teenagers with their emotional wellbeing. What makes a real difference to children and young people's emotional wellbeing is the quality of their relationships. Parents and carers are best placed to help young people develop strong, nurturing relationships, so we have created LOHA. The first digitised platform that helps parents and carers build closer connection with young people through curiosity, trust, understanding and empathy. This grows their young person's self-esteem and confidence, making them more adaptable and resilient to the ups and downs of their life as they navigate the teenage years. The activities the LOHA digital platform provides facilitates interaction on the things that matter around feelings, thoughts and behaviour, in an easy, accessible and engaging way. LOHA activities make discussions about feelings more routine and open, whilst reducing the embarrassment. We support parents and carers to help young people with their emotional wellbeing through the power of transformative relationships, which assists parents, educators, and employers. With 46% of parents and carers losing productive work time to care for a young person with poor mental health, there has never been a better time to use LOHA. We are not about collecting your data - we have developed the platform because we care about young people's and their family's wellbeing.
