About Lokanta Proeflokaal

Voor een heerlijk vakantiegevoel hoef je Rotterdam niet uit. Een klein stukje Spanje, verstopt in Kralingen. Dat vind je in ons kleurrijke buurtrestaurant. Wij (Sandor en Caroline) delen de liefde voor de Spaanse keuken met onze gasten bij Lokanta in een ongedwongen sfeer. We doen dit al sinds 2003. Wist je dat dit Lokanta de oudste tapasbar van Rotterdam maakt? Chef Sandor haalt zijn inspiratie voor onze tapas uit alle windstreken van Spanje. Naast de meer avontuurlijke tapas staan op ons menu de klassiekers zoals patatas bravas, gamba’s al ajillo, croquetas en padron. Waar mogelijk maakt Sandor alles zelf van dagverse producten. De menukaart verandert mee met de seizoenen en stiekem ook een beetje met waar we zelf trek in hebben. Uiteraard zorgen we altijd voor een ruime keuze aan vegetarische tapas. Caroline zorgt voor gezellige en gastvrije bediening. Zij is telkens op zoek naar een heerlijke nieuwe wijn of lekker biertje voor op de drankenkaart, uiteraard allemaal Spaans. Populair is al jaren de huisgemaakte Sangria. Lokanta serveert deze zowel alcoholvrij als met alcohol. Lokanta is uitermate geschikt als informele borrellocatie voor groepen tot 50 personen. De ruimte zorgt voor een warme, informele en intieme sfeer. Onze tapas zijn goed om te vormen tot hapjes voor een walking dinner. We hebben ruime ervaring met catering. Hierbij kunt u aan een mediterraan buffet of Paella denken.
