About Loligo

Loligo is an independent screen printing studio that seeks to experiment with the medium of printing transgressing the boundaries and traditional notions of print in an age of untouchable digital media. We do this though self initiated work, commissions, exhibitions and collaborations with other artists, Using our experience and love of screen printing we also provide an affordable print service to clients nationally. We produce prints, posters, tote bags and record covers as well as printing on to fabrics, wood and plastic. We love screen printing by hand, from the tactile nature of the prints to the way the ink sits on the paper, however, the real beauty of screen printing this way is that the slight variations give each print a distinctive handcrafted feel, Screen printing is a unique interpretation of a piece of art rather than a direct copy. We use high Quality solvent free water based inks, premium 100% recycled papers, organic cotton totes and t-shirts, however we are happy to source additional materials as required for each individual project.
