About London City Football Academy

London City Football Academy is a programme created for released players to help them reignite their journey and opportunities in the game . Our founders , Paul Sears & James Hibburt know first -hand the challenges that players are faced with upon being released from a club. Our full time , fully funded programme designed for players aged 18 to 23 will see players train throughout the week, over a 40 week season, at no cost. In additon to their technical and tactical training programme LCFA will create valuable scouting opportunities , mentoring and support for the players' overall wellbeing along with social media exposure and potential career pathways which include opportunities to become football coaches . Our inaugral initiative will launch in August 25 at Whyteleafe FC , CR3 0AR ( South London ) marking the beginning of our journey . We're looking to connect with clubs , players, businesses and anyone passionate about supporting footballers in their journey after leaving a club .
