About London Fashion District

London Fashion District CIC & London Fashion District Workshops are a social enterprise and charity dedicated to sustainability and local engagement. Our mission focuses on supporting able and disabled individuals from the community who face long-term unemployment, young people from low-income families, and creatives with untapped potential. Our aim is to be a hub in an industry that may sometimes seem daunting and non-inclusive. We offer work experience in our LFD shop, providing these beneficiaries with opportunities to enter the fashion industry and climb the employment ladder. We’re an exciting and innovative charity that helps unemployed young people develop the workplace skills, confidence, positive mindset, and self-discipline needed to secure life-changing permanent employment. Our unique ‘Secure the bag’ training course includes employability and motivation workshops which run alongside the opportunity to attend work experience in our LFD shop – a streetwear/vintage store selling unique sustainable pieces from local designers as well as global brands.
