About London Stone Carving
Classically & traditionally trained, with over 3 decades working with stone, we are a multi award winning team of highly skilled and qualified stone carvers, sculptors and masons. We provide a broad range of specialised skills focusing on working natural stone, but with the transferable skills to also produce ornate and sculptural work in clay, plaster, bronze & resin for restoration, conservation and commission. We supply the expertise to provide a complete service, from initial design through to completion & installation of projects. Our workshop, based in South East London, offers a complete range architectural and sculptural stone work, from small indent repairs and enriched ornament to refined bas relief & classical figurative forms. We focus our expert attention on material, form, detail & historical context to produce work of the highest grade. Our team has worked on numerous prestigious Stone Conservation, Restoration & Carving projects including: Buckingham Palace The V&A's Medieval & Renaissance galleries Horace Walpole’s Strawberry Hill mansions The Queen’s Jubilee Barge Queen’s College Oxford The Albert Memorial Chatsworth House Rippon Cathedral Windsor Castle Old Gorhambury House as well as numerous sculptural, memorial and monumental commissions for private clients.
