About Long Island Counseling and Anxiety Center
The Long Island Counseling and Anxiety center was founded to meet the growing need for effective treatment of children and families contending with Anxiety and OCD. We are licensed clinicians with training and expertise in effective and established techniques for cognitive-behavior therapy for the full array of anxiety disorders. LICA provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of mental health and related issues delivered in a warm, compassionate setting for children and teenagers, as well as for adults. Our mission is to assist our clients in learning and implementing the skills they need to competently overcome the limitations that anxiety creates so that they can go on to lead happy, successful - and most importantly, unburdened lives. Anxiety disorders are one of the most prevalent challenges in children and adults, but they are also amongst the most responsive to treatment. The prognosis is excellent for those who are struggling with an anxiety disorder if they receive proper treatment. Every therapist at the Center specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
