About Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation

The Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation is a 501 c.3, non-profit organization whose primary mission is “to provide cultural programming at the Long’s Park Amphitheater for the benefit of the general public, thereby enriching the quality of life in Lancaster County.” Since 1962, the Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation has been presenting an array of national, international and local first-rate performances of various musical genres to the folks of Lancaster and surrounding counties for free. This Summer Sunday staple has become a tradition for our diverse audiences. Set in a family friendly park atmosphere, the Summer Music Series continues to be voted the top musical entertainment destination in Central PA year after year. The annual Patriotic Concert, honoring our nation's 4th of July, is the pride of the city drawing an astronomical number of patrons. Over the past 60 years, the Amphitheater has introduced hundreds of thousands of people to exclusive performances not generally available in our area or offered at no charge. From Blues, Latin, Celtic, World, Classical, Folk, Bluegrass, Country and of course, good ole’ Rock & Roll - our goal is present the utmost divergent cast of artists that deliver a unique cultural experience. The Summer Music Series is made possible solely through the generous support of sponsors, grants, donors and by revenues generated by the annual Labor Day Weekend Art Festival. Started in 1979 as a fund-raiser for the music series, the Art Festival is a nationally recognized event in its own right. Thousands of art lovers from throughout the Mid-Atlantic region are drawn to the beautiful Long’s Park lake setting, while over 200 juried exhibitors from across the country offer works in a variety of artistic media.
