About Longboard Girls Crew
Longboard Girls Crew (LGC) is the biggest community worldwide in the Action Sports Industry, created in the summer of 2010 by a group of female skaters living in Madrid to promote longboarding among women. They are acknowledged in more than 180 countries and have official crews and ambassadors in more than 70. LGC works relentlessly to support and promote women in the Action Sports scene, creating opportunities for female athletes and therefor not only reinforce our role in the Industry but in society in general. We provide honest and healthy role models and work to achieve real gender equality. Recently we have shifted as well into an active platform of Humanitarian Contribution, partnering up with NGOs and Associations around the world to bring the joy, empowerment and self-confidence that skate and longboarding bring us to those in most need. Our first projects are with NGOs that work and rescues survivors of Human Trafficking in India, Thailand and Cambodia.
