About Look Good Feel Better UK
Established over 30 years ago Look Good Feel Better UK is a cancer support charity supporting patients with their cosmetic appearance and wellbeing during treatment. To date it has provided support to over 220,000 men, women and young adults during their cancer journey. Both in our face to face and virtual workshops, experienced volunteers given advice around a number of issues that they may be facing, such as; dry, sensitive skin; redness; sallow skin; recreating missing eyebrows and for the men, local barbers offer advice on shaving, skin issues, scarring and sun protection. The most important element of our service is that it brings people together who are all going through similar challenges, giving them a safe, inclusive and welcoming space to share experiences, learn new skills and chat to each other.
