Principal operator and owner of Lori Designs, a Window Design and Treatment business, along with Interior Design, Lori Mead is a Hunter Douglas dealer specializing in Hunter Douglas shades and blinds and also in Specialty Fabrications window treatments, a Hunter Douglas owned company. Lori grew up in Massachusetts with a Home Design and Builder Dad and artistic Mom. She went on to study business, English and Design, and has many years of experience as an independent professional designer. Blessed with a talent for visual memory, particularly color and texture, her added intention to technical layout and construction as well as organizational function make for wonderfully inviting spaces. Her diverse experience and exposure to thousands of homes and commercial buildings are shown in her work today. She possesses a very unique personal interactive style with clients and completes her room designs with much integrity. With twenty five years of experience in fabrics, colors, technical design in apparel and home/commercial design, Lori looks forward to helping her clients see the heart of their vision. Naturally and environmentally mindful, she moves from function to sketches, texture, and finally a gracefully created window, room, view, spa or wing!
