About Los Angeles Pacific College
LAPC was founded in 1989 as a computer training school in Los Angeles, California. In 1990, we obtained federal authorization from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to enroll foreign students. In 1992, we began to offer English as a Second Language courses to assist foreign students and new immigrants with their English language education. Later in March 2002, the school was approved as a degree-granting institution by what is now the California State Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). LAPC continues to modify and improve its curriculum to meet the changing needs of potential students and employers. By fostering their development of skills, LAPC prepares its students to meet the needs of American businesses and industries where they can benefit others as well as themselves.
