About Losina Art Center
For over 30 years Olya Losina has been helping individuals to achieve artistic expression. Losina was born and educated in the Soviet Union - she completed 5-year studies at the Moscow University and graduated with a Masters degree in Fine Art. In 1991 Losina left Russia and moved to the United States, opened an art school in La Jolla, CA, became a faculty member at the Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla teaching children & adults. In 2007 she founded Losina Art Center in San Diego, CA. The Losina's teaching method has been producing remarkable results as can be attested by the over 500 individuals who have gone through her transformational artistic training. Her current student body ranges from absolute beginners to seasoned emerging artists. In 2010 Losina was invited to partner with the Timken Museum of Art in San Diego, CA, to provide art education to museum members & docents.
