About Lotus Psychotherapy and Consultation Services

Mental health needs are growing at unprecedented rates and having a devastating impact on our quality of life. The current social, health, and economic climate are adding complexity to these already difficult times. I started Lotus Psychotherapy & Consultation Services (Lotus) in order to grow my ability to make an impact in addressing these complex mental health issues. The mission of Lotus Psychotherapy & Consultation Services is to provide client centered mental health and community building services. The vision of Lotus is to sustainably impact both individual and collective efforts which address the complex mental health and community issues facing this generation. Lotus is rooted in mindfulness philosophy and its’ core values of non-judgement, self-awareness, and total acceptance of self and other. Relationship building, engagement, and creating effective alliances are some of my primary skills. These skills are reflected in efficacious treatment outcomes, scope of practice, and qualitative impact manifested throughout my career. While my experience includes learning about clinical intervention, psychology, and administrative social work from advanced academic training, I have found my best education, in many ways, has come from personal and professional relationships built on achieving common goals and objectives. Essentially, people hurt in relationship and heal in relationship. At Lotus, relationships are the cornerstone to services. As the sole proprietor of Lotus, I bring a combined over 25 years of experience serving individuals and communities. I have served side by side those with the most to those with the least. My unwavering passion for positive impact has led me to places of both great discomfort and equally great success. I have succeeded and also failed many times. I find each of these experiences powerfully valuable and bring this understanding to my work at Lotus.
