Immerse yourself in the rotating art exhibitions and hand-crafted items for sale in the Louis Joel Gallery Shop. Creatives interested in exhibiting or selling hand-crafted items in our gallery shop are encouraged to connect with us. From painting and poetry to yoga and sustainable living, LJAC offers a diverse range of classes and workshops. Participants can learn new skills, express themselves, and engage with fellow community members. A monthly Repair Cafe cares about fixing rather than wasting resources, saving items from landfill by repairing when possible. Our monthly Death Cafe is a safe and supported place to share thoughts, ask questions and much more to improve death literacy and enhance wellbeing. Weekly Chit Chat for women, Stitch & Knit, Chatty Cafe, Kings of the Kitchen and Laughter Club all contribute to the health and wellbeing of our community. Spaces for events, workshops or meetings available in a bayside suburb of Melbourne's south-west close to Altona beach, park, shops and transport.
