About Louisville Center for Eating Disorders

The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders was founded in October 2017 by Dr. Cheri Levinson. Dr. Levinson is a native of Louisville, KY and returned to her hometown after completing her doctoral training with a passion to provide much needed services for eating disorders in the Louisville community. In partnership with the Behavioral Wellness Clinic and Louisville OCD Clinic she established a small outpatient clinic treating eating disorders in July of 2016. In October 2017, the clinic grew into The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders that currently provides both outpatient and intensive outpatient care. The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders is comprised of caring therapists, psychologists, dietitians, prescribers, and staff that care about helping you or your loved one recover from eating disorders without having to travel far for treatment. We are also actively engaged in training and research with the joint goals of establishing a network of eating disorder professionals in the state of KY and developing novel treatments that will help end the suffering associated with eating disorders.
