More home runs, hits, and RBIs have occurred with Louisville Slugger bats than all other bat brands combined. H&B owned the world-famous Louisville Slugger brand from its inception in 1884 to 2015, when Wilson Sporting Goods acquired it. H&B now serves as Wilson’s manufacturing partner for wood bats. Our company’s renowned Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory attracts more than 300,000 visitors annually and is ranked as a top national and international attraction. Visitors tour the factory floor, seeing and touching MLB player bats before they ship to a Major League ballpark. The museum features fabulous pieces of baseball history, including a Babe Ruth game-used bat from the record-breaking 1927 season and a Joe DiMaggio 56-game hit streak bat from the historic 1941 MLB season. Fans can also get their hands on game-used bats in the museum’s popular Hold a Piece of History exhibit, which features bats from all 30 MLB teams. H&B’s award-winning Bionic® gloves division designs and makes the most technologically and scientifically advanced gloves for golf, fitness, gardening and other sports and activities and recently entered a collaboration with former professional football star Marshawn Lynch and his Beast Mode brand.
