Love In Abundance College Must Begin in 8th Grade Life & Pre-College Preparatory Program is founded on Dr. Pierre Bourdieu's Sociological Capitals; the Top 6 Deficits of a Group of Surveyed College and University Professors; and a study involving 5th-9th Grade Students Attitude Toward Education via Lotus of Control. As Love In Abundance teach the Components of Human Capital offered through Social, Symbolic, Economic, and Cultural Capital, students are prepared to: 1. Understand the Value of Advancing in Education 2. Increase Critical Thinking & Decision Making Acuity 3. Heighten Effective Problem Resolution Skills 4. Understand the Power of Forming Right Relationships 5. Take Responsibility for the Future Talked About... All lessons are introduced via a four-tier approach, on a quarterly basis, tying in like skills or proficiencies to assure students have some knowledge of the basic structure of any given business. Community Service and Peer-on-Peer Mentoring is incorporated in every program, and the monthly answer to introduced problems/areas of concern are as follows: Week One introduces the problem or critical societal area of concern. Week Two adds a practical application to the problem or societal area of concern. Week Three offers an alternative approach to the problem or societal area of concern. Week Four solidifies all introductions are accepted via our peer on peer mentoring program, where students teach all lessons to a younger grade level student.
