About Love Southsea

Love Southsea is a Portsmouth-based events firm dedicated to hosting some of the city’s best days out, and specialising in markets, both standalone and as elements of larger events. We established the Love Southsea street market in Palmerston Road in 2013, a monthly event which has since gone on to attract 12,000 visitors and 60+ local independent traders to each day of the its running. We also work with Portsmouth City Council on a variety of local events, such as the Rural & Seaside Show (formerly the Heavy Horse Show), the International Kite Festival, BeachBuggin', Easter and Christmas markets throughout the city, and Southsea Food Festival, amidst others. We also established the Victorious Vintage festival in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in 2012. A Love Southsea clothing line and artwork range was established in 2011, with high-quality locally-designed and -printed designs going on to become iconic emblems for the city of Portsmouth and its seaside resort of Southsea. Love Southsea is also the face of the largest online community representing Southsea and its people, with an unmatched level of influence and engagement across social media. Love Southsea became a leading partner in Mutiny Festival in 2014, an electronic dance event with international chart-topping headliners across multiple stages, sponsored by the globally-recognised MTV.
