About LovebySusie Bridal Couture

Susie McKenzie established LovebySusie in February 2007, rekindling a love affair between the elements of cloth, elegance, adornment and the female form, seemingly absent from modern bridal design. Combining the most delicate silk, satins, vintage lace and hand beading, LovebySusie is utterly feminine and truly unique. Born in Edinburgh, Susie McKenzie completed BA (hons) Degree in Fashion Design at followed by a MSc in Fashion Marketingresultting and inspiring career in Buying Tailoring and Occasion wear for the highly successful luxury High Street brand Coast. During this time, Susie gained vast knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the design, construction and production of exquisite high quality garments. After six years in London, Susie decided it was time to return to Edinburgh in 2007. Arriving at Bridal Design through a desire for inspiriting change, Susie created LovebySusie Bridal Couture offering a bespoke bridal gown design service. This then led to the introduction of LovebySusie Lingerie encompassing beautiful handmade corsets, wedding garters, silk knickers, eye masks, make up pouches and nightwear. The latest LovebySusie range is Bridal Accessories consisting of silk chiffon and tulle veils, vintage fascinators, pretty mini hats, lace cover ups and silk capelets. Susie is now based in the beautiful countryside just outside Padstow, Cornwall but frequently visits Edinburgh to see selected bridal clients upon request.
