He has a wide range of relevant experience in sustainable forestry work: As Director – Sustainable Forest Strategies at Georgia Pacific, Steve developed and executed a corporate Chain of Custody conformance system for several wood products business units in North America. As Vice President – Forest Management Assistance Program at Georgia Pacific, he provided leadership of a private forest landowner assistance program which grew by 50% to 1500 clients and 1.4 million acres during his tenure. He has, over the years, led very successful teams managing hundreds of thousands of acres of corporate timberlands in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. He is a registered forester in South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama.
