About Lowcountry Autism Foundation

Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Inc. is a local, nonprofit organization in South Carolina committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families through individually designed programming, advocacy and awareness efforts. Our vision is all individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder will receive necessary support to reach their full potential and communities will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to create an accepting and functional environment for people with all levels of abilities. The Lowcountry Autism Foundation’s policy is to provide, support and promote evidence–based treatment and intervention strategies, commonly used in mainstream practice. Since the Lowcountry Autism Foundation does not charge for the high quality autism services it provides, families are asked to support LAF in the community, help with awareness and when possible assist with LAF events.
