About LSESU Student Action for Refugees

LSESU Student Action for Refugees society was founded in 2017, and re-founded in 2023 after a two year break. We seek to uplift the lives of Refugees, Migrants and Displaced People across the UK & internationally. Since 2023, we have: - Held a coffee morning to raise awareness about the impact of the Palestine-Israel conflict on displacement and the global refugee crisis. - Organised a Collection4Calais, supporting the charity Care4Calais. - We raised over £350 for Care4Calais through a fun run & Cycle2Calais event - Sent over 60 items of clothing to Calais to support those who live in exile on the Franco-British border - Raised awareness & campaigned to #StopRwanda And much more!
