LTG Cargo Ukraine provides competitive rolling stock (locomotives and wagons) rental services, develops freight forwarding service and seeks to strengthen logistics supply chains between Lithuania and Ukraine, as well as to attract transit cargo flows from Turkey, the Caucasus / Caspian countries to the Scandinavian region and back. LTG Cargo Ukraine LLC is 100% owned by the Lithuanian freight company AB LTG Cargo, which is a part of the Lithuanian state-owned company AB Lietuvos Geležinkeliai (LTG) and ranks 8th in the European Union in terms of freight volumes. The company started operations in Ukraine in 2020. Services: • Rental of shunting and main locomotives; • Freight forwarding services by rail; • Wagon rental; • The project of transportation of semi-trailers on the route Klaipeda - Odessa and back is being developed. The semi-trailers will be transported by rail platforms and handed over the intermodal for the "last mile" service. Currently, two different models of platforms have been prepared and pilot transports of semi-trailers have been carried out in the territory of Lithuania. • Container transportation LTG Cargo Ukraine, together with its partners, offers its customers a portfolio of container train services in the Central and Eastern European markets: • Intermodal train "Baltic Ukraine Shuttle". Klaipeda (Draugystė) - Kiev (Brovary) • Intermodal train "Viking Train". From / To Klaipeda (Draugystė) - Vilnius - Minsk - Kiev - Chornomorsk.
