We integrate current research with traditional use to craft clinically-relevant formulas so your treatment plan works the first time. We are a small team of businesspeople, naturopathic physicians, and close friends that want to share the joy we find in medicine and mycology with the world. Our team formulates clinical-grade, system-targeted mushroom extract products that take the guesswork out of applied mycology, bringing to bear our years of immersion in the ecosystems of mycology and natural medicine. When we’re not spreading mushroom medicine to the world, you can find us foraging in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, with our patients, or around the dinner table strengthening our mycelial connections with each other and our communities. We hope you’ll join us. --- Co-founder and Chief Science Officer Dr. Anna Sitkoff, ND has been researching, writing and teaching about medicinal mushrooms for almost a decade. Her encounter with mushrooms during her father’s cancer treatment led her to pursue laboratory research on mushroom extracts in leukemia cell lines and a career in natural medicine. She has published in the Journal of Immunology and the Textbook of Natural Medicine, and brings deep knowledge of ethnomycology, wildcrafting, extraction techniques, the scientific literature, and clinical application to Lucidum’s formulas and education.
