About Lucy's Pop Choir
Lucy’s Pop Choir are a growing team of upbeat, cheerful and enthusiastic individuals who are striving to spread happiness in communities through singing. At our choirs, we aim for people to always leave our sessions with a smile on their face, even if (and especially if) they come in with a frown! We do that by singing fun and uplifting songs, by having a good laugh and by getting to know each other a bit better each week. We keep our choirs ‘stress-free’ by steering clear of auditions, by not using sheet music and by using our knowledge of music to clearly explain our songs in non-musical terms. We believe life should be lived in community, with friends, fun and laughter. Singing is proven to be good for your mental and physical health, and we want to continue to open up the opportunity for people to sing together so that even ‘casual’ singers can be part of something and receive all the benefits that go with it.
