A celebration of kindness. The “Luisa Diaz Foundation” (LDF 501c3) supports Grassroots organizations and individuals who are making a direct impact in helping people and their communities through acts of kindness. Luisa Diaz Brown, whose overarching theme is “Kindness is Cool” has been helping people and communities since her early days in North Carolina as the host of “Luisa Su Voz Latina” the first Spanish language talk show on the local ABC Network affiliate. Luisa provided vital information to the growing Hispanic community regarding legal services, medical expertise, and entertainment. In addition, she organized Food Drives and supported “Toys for Tots with donation drives and deliveries during the holiday season. Luisa developed and produced the “MAG Gala” (Mi Amor Graciousness Gala), which is a “celebration of kindness” with annual events in New York, Los Angeles and Houston. These events raised money and awareness for organizations to support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking and their families. Luisa worked directly with the survivors in coaching and helping them build their self-esteem to walk the “Runway of Hope” (Walking Towards the Light, where fashion meets compassion). The Luisa Diaz Foundation is a non-profit (501) C3 will continue to support like-minded organizations that are having a direct impact on lifting up people and their communities. Luisa believes strongly that we can all help create a snowball of kindness that will continue to grow, inspire, empower, and provide hope and opportunities for people to change their lives and improve the world around them.
