About Luke 14:12

Luke 14:12 is a non-profit soup kitchen providing free meals to the hungry, homeless, and working poor of Nashville. Our mission is to address the nutritional needs of those who are inadequately fed. Each year, Luke 14:12 provides over 37,000 meals to hungry individuals. We invite all who are hungry to be guests at our table. Luke 14:12 serves lunch at noon every Monday, Tuesday and Friday in the dining room of Room In The Inn, located at: 705 Drexel St, Nashville, TN 37203. Luke 14:12 is a soup kitchen that doesn't serve soup! Instead we prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for our guests. Each meal includes an entree, a carbohydrate, vegetables, salad, fruit, dessert and beverage. Each meal is served dinner-style, and on average we serve 250 of Nashville's hungry, homeless, and working poor per meal service day. Meals are prepared by Luke 14:12's small staff, who are hired from the homeless population. Meals are served to anyone who wants to come to our table by volunteers from church groups, agencies, businesses, and individuals. Luke 14:12 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit; all donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated!
