Lumen Capital Management, LLC employs a variant investment view that a paradigm shift is occurring in how money is invested. Three factors in our opinion have contributed to this change-the instantaneous access to investment news, increased securities regulation and the rise of high frequency trading. These changes have resulted in frequent equity sector rotation and increased market volatility. Strategies can be developed to take advantage of this new era. Others might fear this new investment climate. We see nothing but long-term opportunity! To build our strategies, we apply four disciplines to securities analysis-market structure, fundamental analysis, valuation metrics and money flow analysis. The assimilation of all four disciplines adds context and depth to our investment strategies. Our Mission is to develop strategies tailored to our client’s specific investment goals and risk parameters. We currently employ five distinct portfolio strategies across the risk spectrum. We primarily invest by using Exchange Traded Funds {ETFs}. In fact we believe that we have created value by our research on how ETFs trade while also developing strategies for investing in this asset class. Our disciplined multilayered investment process we believe has demonstrated over time, to be an effective approach for the preservation capital and creation of wealth. Although past performance is no guarantee of future results, we have demonstrated the ability to consistently meet stated client objectives.
