About LumenAire®

Introducing LumenAire™ Medical-grade Air Disinfection Device, a simple yet effective way to clean, disinfect and eliminate airborne pathogens in the air by using the proven ozone-free germicidal UV-C light technology that destroys the nucleic acid in the microorganisms DNA disrupting their ability to perform vital cellular functions, combined with our method of passing air to a highly reflective irradiation chamber for longer periods before releasing it back into the room. It is shielded against exposure to skin and eyes, so it is safe to use even in occupied spaces. The team behind LumenAire consist of R&D scientist and engineers engaged by ARID Indoor Air Solutions which started its first research and development meeting in February 2020 during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim is to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus thru improved indoor air quality using innovative, affordable and stylish solutions to air disinfection. The project was rolled out and funded by ARID Indoor Air Solutions Pte Ltd (Formerly ARID Builders Pte Ltd) under the leadership of its founder and Managing Director Mr. James Paul Pilande. The first product, the Pendant Light Purifier (PLP) conceptual model was completed on 24th March and was applied for a patent on 31st March 2020. The team worked despite the circuit breaker period and the full working prototype was completed on the 5th of June. Further improvements were added and product testing under TUV-SUD PSB Pte Ltd started on the 28th of September 2020. At the end of December, the first batch of products was completed for local and overseas roll-out. It has been shipped to Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines at the start of January 2021. *LumenAire® is a registered trademark of ARID Indoor Air Solutions Pte Ltd.
