Pronounced as “L-oo-mmi”. Lūmmi began in 2016 with a simple yet powerful idea—creating babywear that aligns with how newborns perceive the world. At birth, babies can only see in black and white, which led to the launch of monochromatic designs that were both stylish and developmentally suitable. Fast forward to 2022, as I embraced motherhood with two young children, Lūmmi evolved with me. "Lūmmi in Colour" was born, expanding into a world of organic, soft, and vibrant babywear that reflected the growing curiosity and personality of little ones. Now, in the summer of 2025, the journey continues with a new vision: to protect little adventurers as they explore the world around them. Australia’s harsh sun and outdoor lifestyle demand high-quality, stylish, and durable sun protection. That’s why Lūmmi is expanding its range for children aged 0–11 years—offering sunglasses that blend function with fun, and mosquito patches made with natural ingredients to help keep bites at bay.
