About Lummox Press
Lummox Press has been around for over 15 years. During that time it has proven my dedication to the small press by producing the Lummox Journal (1995 - 2006), the Little Red Book Series (1998 to present with 60 titles so far), and the publication of 18 trade paper backs (1994 to present). In addition to this Lummox has also produced a number of CDs featuring poetry and music by its writers including, Rick Smith, Alan Catlin, Leonard J. Cirino, RD Armstrong... It is my intention to publish the best that the small press has to offer, in as professional a manner as is possible, regardless of its saleability. During the 2010-2011 fiscal year, Lummox Press has published nine books, of which five were first-time collections, an anthology and a two person book. I have seven more books planned for 2011-2012, of which three are first full-length collections. I have also just embarked on a new project...An annual magazine entitled LUMMOX (a tip of the hat to the old Lummox Journal). The first issue has just come out. It features over 200 poets and is 236 pages long in an 8 X 10 format.
