About Luna Bakery & Cafe
Luna Bakery & Café was founded in 2011 by chef Bridget Thibeault in historic Cleveland Heights. What began as a cozy European-style pastry shop quickly became a neighborhood favorite, known for scratch-made pastries, breakfast, lunch, local coffee, and warm hospitality. Over the years, Luna has grown to three locations—Cleveland Heights, Moreland Hills, and Downtown Cleveland—along with a large production kitchen in Midtown that supports our cafés, custom cakes, and wholesale offerings. Each space reflects Luna’s classic and welcoming atmosphere, where guests gather for morning lattes, leisurely brunches and fresh catering. We are proud to be known for flaky croissants, artisan pastries, and custom cakes as well as a full menu of soups, salads, paninis, grain bowls, crêpes, and egg dishes. Everything is made from scratch with care, creativity, and attention to detail. At Luna, our team is the heart of what we do. Guided by our values—Above & Beyond Experience, Creative & Curious, and Genuine Thoughtfulness—we strive to create meaningful experiences for our customers and community. Community has always been central to Luna. As members of Cleveland Independents, we support the local restaurant community and regularly give back through round-up donations and gift card contributions to schools, charities, and fundraisers. From our first café to today, Luna has grown while staying true to its roots: quality food, genuine hospitality, and a deep connection to the community. We look forward to continuing to grow, serve, and sweeten the moments that matter most.
