Forty years ago “Mullermeister”Josef Olberts’ unveiled his concept of a natural based food stemming from the original eating habits of each species. This concept was the foundation stone that built the Markus-Mühle Luposan companies, which exist today, and because of that our products for dogs and cats were, and continue to be manufactored in the following way: Free of materials from dead animals, which are deemed a sanitory risk (MER) although since the year 2000, Germany has extended the list of prohibited materials and it now includes the following: +Preservatives, synthetic aromas, and colourants. +G.M Genetically modified products. +feet, paws, beaks, feathers....... +Minerales that are not from an organic origin, such as, Calcium Carbonate, lime stone, and lime fodder. +Vegetable ingredients, which are difficult to digest, such as; Soya, Bran Wheat, Shell, husk, rind, skin etcs, +Vegetable proteins. +Highly processed products. +all products that have been tested on animals. More and more people today are turning to a more natural and healthy alimentation for their pets, based on original eating habits of that species and dating back thousands of years, for example the wolf and the large cat family. It is much more important to us to protect the enviroment, that our products endure the years, and we are socially responsible, particularly towards animals, than in making huge profits. We control 100% of the manufacturing process, from buying the prime materials (Products originating from WesterWald, Germany) right through to the final maufactoring of these materials, based on the original alimentation of each animal.
