Our Story The idea for Luxeire came out of founder Gina Kuyers’ search for the perfect pieces to layer under vintage and designer fashions that were high maintenance and lacked comfortable. The events of the last few years have brought many changes to the fashion space. Comfort is now queen. Easy care is a must. The demand to be environmentally responsible is urgent. Luxeire has evolved in this world to focus on creating wardrobe essentials for modern women. Elegant pieces that are chic, comfortable, easy care, and made from recycled fibers. Designed and manufactured in New York City, Luxeire garments are crafted from the finest Italian technical fabrics that are made from recycled fibers. Luxeire pieces are timeless and seasonless. They are perfect for layering but subtly chic when worn on their own. Our styles complement a woman’s everyday wardrobe, adding versatility to dressing – for everything from work to travel and special occasions. We partner with a world-renowned mill in Bergamo, Italy to create the finest luxury technical fabrics. Made from pre- and post-consumer recycled nylon and plastics, our fabrics are soft, beautiful, and offer technical benefits like quick-dry, breathability and UV protection. Our fabrics are what make our collection so exceptional. Made in NYC Our production is in the heart of New York City’s garment district, at a women-owned fashion-industry favorite known for its impeccable designs. Our garments are ethically sewn by skilled clothiers.
