LXD is a family-owned and operated business, founded in 2022, dedicated to building and supporting a network of independent drivers who help students overcome hurdles to school attendance. This initiative began by connecting a single driver with students in Texas and has grown into a nationwide community of independent drivers serving multiple states. At LXD, we believe every child deserves reliable access to education. Our independent driver network supports children facing homelessness, disabilities, foster care, and other challenging circumstances. We work hand in hand with schools, families, and community organizations to connect students with reliable and empathetic drivers who are committed to getting them to school safely and on time. The drivers we partner with do more than provide transportation; they serve as mentors, role models, and trusted figures in the lives of the students. Our network includes individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, including engineers, doctors, lawyers, and local community members, all bringing their unique experiences, care, and responsibility to their roles. Through comprehensive training, logistical support, and open communication, we equip our driver partners with the resources and confidence to manage their work effectively and compassionately. As we continue to expand, our mission remains focused on one core goal: removing barriers to education for more students, supporting more families, and empowering more communities.
