Founded in 1990, Lyle’s Trucking Ltd. built on honesty and integrity has flourished building a solid reputation along the way. Over the past 25 years, they have earned the tag “elite fleet” given to them by their peers. Safety, service, and quality are the underpinnings of the business, and the ongoing goal is to continue to grow on those same values and dedication. Part of this foundation and growth has been developing an important niche in the trucking industry: specializing in the complex business of moving contaminated soil from environmental cleanups, hauling invert drill cuttings from active drilling rigs, and providing high quality sawdust/planer mill savings and DryX Pellets. To serve this industry, the company owned fleet includes super B-train and tridem end dumps equipped with industry-leading safeguards including sealed end gates and locks, as well as Camaro tarps to ensure the safety transportation of contaminated waste. It’s an inherently dangerous business, so a safety conscious workplace is critical: following industry best safety practices while maintaining a culture valuing open communication and situational awareness to the worksite. To that end, Lyle’s Trucking has implemented a comprehensive Safety Management System. This emphasis on safety has earned the company a Certificate of Recognition through the Alberta Motor Transport Association and Alberta Human Services. In addition, the company has achieved a Certification with the Partners in Compliance (PIC) for obtaining and demonstrating a higher level of safety standards in the transportation industry. Doing things safely isn’t considered a nuisance, but simply the way we do things.
